Dua Before Meals How and When to Recite

Notice Board:

Reciting a dua before eating is a simple yet profound act of gratitude in Islam. It reminds us that all sustenance comes from Allah and encourages mindfulness in appreciating the blessings we often take for granted. Saying the dua before meals not only brings barakah (blessings) to the food but also protects us from overeating and promotes a sense of thankfulness. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized the importance of acknowledging Allah’s provision before partaking in any food, which strengthens faith and nurtures a humble and grateful attitude.
