How to Apply for an AIOU Degree by Post
If you have completed your BA or Associate Degree and are wondering how to obtain your degree, here’s a complete guide to help you through the process.
What is a AIOU Transcript?
Before applying for a degree, the university typically issues a transcript. Some people may refer to it as a DMC or PC (Detailed Marks Certificate). A transcript is a certificate that includes all of your subject marks and grades. If you plan to continue your education or apply for a job, this transcript is essential.
Generally, transcripts are issued around 50 days after the result is announced. If you need it urgently, you can visit the university in person to collect it. If it’s not available on the spot, it will be sent by post within a week.
Best Way to Apply for Your AIOU Degree
If your credits are completed, it’s a good idea to apply for your degree. This ensures that both your transcript and degree are processed and received quickly. While some students may automatically receive their transcripts from the university, applying for the degree is the best option.
